I don't use any of the so called high quality products. I use DuraGloss products for all my vehicles, Vette included. They have worked well for me these many years.

I use a touchless, trackless automatic car wash. Never use any other products on it. Car is about 60% covered in clear film. Looks fine.

To be honest, I have used the high-end stuff, and the not so high end. Last fall I put on a quick coat of Nu-Finish. Pretty tough stuff.

Me.

I use the local drive through car wash about once a week. I have them do a clay bar, swirl remover and Zaino every 4 months.

I recently discovered a place that hand washes for about the same price so I've shifted there for my weekly washes.

Me. It's a daily driver and sees weekend action at the strip.

Meguiar's Gold Class car wash and NXT 2.0 wax. The only difference between my Vette and other cars is I wash and wax the Vette more often.

The car sits in storage all winter isn't a daily driver so waxed it twice with NuFinish the first year, once a year there after. Wash with a car detergent. The SUV in the garage beside it gets the same treatment. Car looks great. Used to use Turtle Wax for years but found NuFinish stands up better. Vacuum and clean the interior a couple of times a summer. No big deal.

Zaino wash and Z2 polish.....is that "fancy and expensive"?

Nothing fancy here. I was previously using Turtle wax Ice products on my C6 JSB GS, but when I bought a Black C7, the Ice products weren't cutting it (smears and streaks). So I 'upgraded' to Meguair's Black Wax paste in a tube, gold class wash, and Meguair's black wax detailer, and it works wonderfully.
