I permanently installed these aluminum jacking pucks by bending the tabs ( tapping with hammer) inward just enough to lock them in place, and then re-installing them with waterproof glue to keep them from moving. They have worked great for over 1 year and 7500 miles. I have had my car raised up at dealers and jacked up at home numerous times since installed and they work great. My tire installer even commented on how nice they were! Before purchasing these on ebay, I owned a black plastic set that broke the first time I jacked my Vette up at home. Did get the one replaced, but was told they are designed for a four point lift like your Chevy dealer or professional shop uses, not a single point jack.
