Installed it today. Will test in about 6 weeks when I start driving. It's definitely a more substantial filter than OEM

I think many of us would be curious about real world results. If it gives decent gains, it would be a great options for those that want to keep the stock look. Me included.

I am a summer only weekend warrior when it comes to track days. I just got the vette, but have tracked and worked on my Camaro 1LE extensively. I will shake the hand of any man who can tell the difference in their car over 5 or 8hp. I'm convinced you can't feel that. Here's what I know and why I bought it. It's bigger and much better constructed than the Indonesian OEM filter, it's priced very competitively with its smaller and oiled counterparts, compared to the list price of the OEM paper filter it's a no-brainer and I'm supporting a forum vendor. Good enough for me. I have yet to meet anyone who slashed their lap times thanks to just an air filter. I hope I'm not coming off as a *****, I'm simply saying that you are most likely not going to "feel" the gain of an air filter. But it is less restrictive than your OEM filter, I can tell you that.

There was a 16 hp gain in the LS9 just by swapping the filter!...BUT that's another story. It was about 5 to the rear wheels on the LS3 & 7. People were telling us and posting on this forum how they could actually feel a difference. There was one customer (who won the SCCA T-1 Regionals with the Attack Blue filter) quoted "There is definitely an increase in horsepower. I
have driven this track many times and the car is noticeably faster. Our best lap time was reduced by about 1/2 a second which is a great improvement"
We are seeing much higher gains then 5hp on the LT1's and the LT4's. So don't be surprised if you noticed shes a little snappier.

We are in the same boat. However, today happens to be a ridiculous 60+ degree day outside here! So I might pull the car out of hibernation and blow some dust off before the temp drops like a hammer.

What would be neat if you could have one made with the rubber end that flows much like this one. Maybe help with turbulence eliminating that wall at entry.

We went through about 14 different designs, sizes (including size openings) Bigger and "wide open" was not always better.
The car reacted horrible. Surging, sluggish, too lean....etc To the point it where it might have needed a tune.. Of course we did not want that.
I'm happy with what we came up with. So happy we filed for a patent. Its the perfect combo. More air, more power, smooth as silk ride, the best filtration.
It was like the three little bears. This one is juuuust right.

I don't know about BMS
What I can tell you about the Attack Blue for the C7 is that after 2 years, a completely different media was designed. Its a dry Nanofiber media!
Nanofibers are ultra fine. Since the fibers are so much thinner than traditional spun fibers, you can pack more fibers in the same amount of space which creates more obstacles to stop particulate from passing through without sacrificing air flow! So its more air without sacrificing filtration. This nanofiber media captures dirt down to sub-micron particles and lets face it, its a "filter" lets not stray from what its suppose to do. It will protect your engine.
In addition to the media the filters shape was redesigned! Its larger but no modification to the stock box.
We feel the combination /dimensions of this filter not only creates power BUT its smooth. We noticed some designs had a bit of surging, it felt rough. We like the way this design of the Attack Blue felt once in the car. No lights, No codes no Problems
Its dry so there is no oiling no fuss!
We sold out again BUT they will be in stock back in stock in a few days!

Quick question Ed. It seems to sound a bit better too across the RPM range. Placebo? My NPP playing tricks on me? Or am I right with the filter? In any case, owned many performance cars with various CAIs and free flow filters. Yours are top notch.
EDIT: My apologies, I just read through the thread. Looks like you answered this already.
