Right now, I don't see this being any different than the C5/6 cars when the cats are pulled it will set a light for the cats without tuning.

These gains are crazy. Have you guys at LG seen anything like this before?

It's looking like GM bottled up some ponies on this one for future power gains. It's basically a 500+ HP engine with a few tweaks.

WOW!

What's up with the torque dip between 3,250 and 4,000? Can you guys tune that out by messing with the VVT and fuel tables?

Utterly impressive... seems the LT1 likes your long primaries. Wish it was like the old days where GM wouldn't void your warranty for basic engine tuning. This thing will be a monster with an air filter, headers, and tuning.

Looking really good guys. Maybe now we know why the motor did not see +7HP/cylinder going from FI to GDI. GM must have put dual bananas in each cat.

The results must be lined up wrong. So, it is 465/453 not 465/437...correct?

I think you are looking at the LT1 + LG headers vs LS7 Z06

Welcome to the World of DI ladies and gents, where some tuning and flow makes massive power gains (compared to "old style" injection). My cobalt made over 100whp and 150wtrq stock with just a tune, intake, and cat delete... (2.0 Turbo)

Well, I'm sure part of "the tune" was to up the boost though.

Are you going to tune this car anytime soon? I'd like to see the results.

HOLY ****!!! Is this just headers alone?!? Good grief those #'s are your everyday avg H/C C5 and C5Z's rollin around. Hoooo boy this car is gonna be a force to be reckoned with!!! Excellent work guys! Btw proud owner of your LG Street headers 4+ years and running.....with the valves open it sounds VERY similar to mine with corsa xtremes at WOT.

I didnt run any more boost than what the factory GM "Stage 1" tune for those cars did. 22psi. More boost does not necessarily mean more power.

I am well aware of how turbo cars work. My point was, if your Cobalt was running factory boost, it wouldn't have gained that kind of power just due to the DI.
Agreed?
