On the C6, after drilling the holes with a template, you were able to reach the holes by removing the tail lights without having to remove the entire rear fascia. Not sure with the C7 until mine arrives.

Im in the process of doing a step by step guide but here are a few pics to get you started.
Remove all 7mm bolts underneath the rear bumper.
Remove 2 10mm bolts behind license plate and 2 10mm just above the exhaust tips.
Remove two t15 torx screws behind each mudflap (2 on each side, total of four)
Remove all t15 torx screws underneath plastic trim piece on top of bumper.
Remove all 7mm bolts underneath the rear bumper.
Remove 2 10mm bolts behind license plate and 2 10mm just above the exhaust tips.
Remove two t15 torx screws behind each mudflap (2 on each side, total of four)
Remove all t15 torx screws underneath plastic trim piece on top of bumper.

There are 2 more torx screws that you have to remove that I couldn't physically take a pic of. I will try to circle it in another pic

Burning Brakes
I had the spoiler installed at my dealership - I had the spoiler in my hand and I looked at it before the install. There are 9 bolts molded into the spoiler. No template or nuts were in the box. I had it painted Torch Red - came out perfect. Yes the bumper must be removed. The mechanic removed the bumper, used a homemade template and drilled the holes in the bumper. They did a perfect job.
