yay for step by step dyno results.

Did you guys drive the car with just headers only? Could you feel the difference without the tune? 27lbs of tq gain, i imagine so!?

All you need now are the wide body panels from the new Z06 and you'll be spot on

So tell me about the sound. I have been a little disappointed with my sound unless you're accelerating it is too quite. Added HP is always a bonus too!

We have cars book but most guys are waiting on the weather to break. So as soon as that happens we will be posting up the various builds.

No, only drove it once headers and tune were done. Yes, you can feel it!

When I picked it up from them I was a little disappointed in the sound, but then within a block I realized the car was in Tour rather than Sport. Once I put it back into Sport I couldn't get the smile off my face.

Been there, done that. I had Z06 rear quarters on my 2005, The Silver Devil, before Z06's had even hit the streets. I don't see doing that again, I think the C7 is wide enough as it is.

So in tour mode does it stay nice and quiet? I'm thinking of these "mid-lengths" myself.

I'm seriously looking at these mids myself as well.

But why not set the exhaust valves open all the time if you like the sound in Sport/Track? Then you don't need to worry about the driving mode to get the sound you like.

I typically drive around in Tour and set valves open. Best of both worlds for most driving IMO.

Understood. I still think it's cool that the tech is right there in the dash for us to switch the preference in 5-10 seconds. I have to believe you will eventually persuade him which is really more entertaining... Even my wife caved to full NPP glory. But headers in any form may not always be music to some.
