Default All Motor C7 Corvette Makes 551 WHP: LMR Stage III Heads/Cam Package In Action

I saw this on tech and thought I'd share it here! I did not write this.

All Motor C7 Corvette Makes 551 WHP: LMR Stage III Heads/Cam Package In Action

For everyone who had their reservations about the new LT1, well, how does 551 HP at the wheels sound from a C7 Corvette with an LMR Stage III heads/cam package? Sounds like beast mode to us and further proof the new LT1 is no joke! Now I'm not saying the venerable LS3 is any less impressive because tuners are still squeezing more and more power out of that jewel-of-a-motor, but the new LT1 is throwing down dang-near LS7 power from a lot less cubes! I get it, we're talking apples to oranges with direct injection and much newer technology, but this really isn't about Chevy vs Chevy, but rather it's a reminder that the future is oh so bright in the GM camp and I can't wait to see where we're headed. Are you kidding me, H/C/I C7s making 550 WHP, wow! I still can't get over it!

Very impressive. The lesser cubes shows up in the tq a bit but otherwise yeah it's close to a C6Z with similar mods. Question then comes to cam specs but I am sure those are proprietary for now.

I was actually going to make this post today but you beat me too it

We tested our stage III heads/cam last week. Now you can see it made GREAT peak numbers but the numbers under the curve were not as good as our stage II system that made 530rwhp. This is why we have tested so many combinations so when you buy a package from us you will know exactly what your getting.

You guys also have to remember ALL of this is done with the FACTORY CAI system. The LMR CAI system is still in development and will be tested over the holidays and beginning of new year. Product should be 100 percent complete and ready to ship by end of January(thats our goal). Our Heads/Cam package is going to pick up significantly with our cold air induction system. I cant wait to show you guys a finished product.

Do you think you may see another 15 rwhp with your intake on this set up?

I have yet to really dig through the engine bay of a C7 so sorry for the simple question but where is the air being drawn in from with the OEM intake? Where can cold air be drawn in from on that side of the car?

I think on a heads/cam package 20 plus RWHP will be seen. You can actually see the MAP pulling a Vacuum under WOT with the factory air box showing us that it is a restriction.
