I can't even imagine how good those tires are, I'm just running street tires.

How is the fit in the rear? I looked at the TSW Nurburgring, but they don't have a rear fitment. The offset is not enough and the tire sticks out. Thought this may cause some rubbing with the car lowered? Are the Interlagos working fine?

At full droop and full lock, the front wheel touches the rear of the front upper A-arm, which is not likely to happen in any situation I can think of. Putting tape marker on A-arm just to be sure it does not happen on track. Same setup as MTI Racing used, so I copied them.

Thanks. That is amazing to get a square set up that large under the car. It would be a huge improvement in grip over the stock sizes. I imagine the wheels can be purchased at a reasonable price as well. Thanks again, I will be looking into this.

I'm real happy with my Forgestar F14's I got from Ben at WeaponX. I'm also running Sport Cup 2's on them. Good looking wheel.

The C7 is still pretty new and most are probably still on original tires.

Looking the TireRack , there are no Extreme Performance category options yet.

Hopefully Bridgestone RE-11 and Yokohama ADVAN 08R's will make C7 sizes, but maybe not anytime soon.

Those are the two best "street" tire options that can pull double duty.

I'm going to go with the C5Z rear wheels. There are a lot of tire choices that will fit that 18x10.5" rim. Plus the grip and pricing will be better as well.

do your research first. they stick out over an inch and do some rubbing on some people's cars....wrong wheel.

i ran the c5 z06 wheels all summer on a c7 non z51( here's the poop) the 17x9.5 worked great with 295/35/17's on front of non z51, the 18x10.5 also work well on front with 295/30/18 or 315/30/18. NOW THE REAR! the 18x10.5 with 315/30/18 hit my rear inner fenders lips so bad that they are gone. wrong offset by 20 mm( 8 th's of a inch) i even tried putting the z51 sways and shocks on to stop the hitting, did not help. i ordered forgeline ga3's off ben x and a new z51 vert, maybe if i used a 295/30/18 on rear instead of 315/30/18 i would have not lost the lips. enough

The rear sticking out is an issue with aftermarket rims as well, at least that is what I hear. So right now there is no good choice for rear rims, other than a stock wheel? Then you have to deal with a 20" tire. I am told that Forgestar and TSW both stick out on the rear as well. I know some high end wheels have the correct rear offset, but I am not looking to spend $3000 - $4000 or more on track wheels. I will keep looking.

The rear aftermarket issues are with cheap aftermarket wheels that only come in one offset/size. So far your only option is to order something like a Forgeline that you can spec out down to the millimeter.

The TSW's are perfect and don't stick out at all. This set up is really nice and very lightweight. Nobody at TSW or their dealers wanted to sell this set up for the Z51 convinced they wouldn't fit the calipers but they clear easily.

Interlagos are the way to go with the Ferrari Challenge Tires. The grip is unbelievable, the tires were well ahead of the brakes. With new Big Brakes and this combo this car will be a beast on the track.

Then the 18/19 tire set is about 1/2" less diameter than OEM while the 19/20 tire set is about 1/2" more diameter than OEM. But there's a better selection of extreme-performance tires in the 18/19 tire sizes or even in 19/19 sizes:

AD08 R
265/35-18, front
265/30-19, front
275/30-19, front
305/30-19, rear

RS3
265/35-18, front
275/35-18, front
305/30-19, rear

The problem is that some tuners are looking for an 11.5" wide rear wheel at 79mm offset for the 325/30-19. Or a 12" wide rear wheel at 79mm offset for the 335/25-20. And there aren't any street tires in 315/30-19 which would be good on an 11" wide wheel.

The next problem is that some tuners are looking for a square setup. I can help with a near-square setup with my Superleggera trick except that here too the rear wheel tops out at 11" wide:

Superleggera III

Front, 18 x 9.5, 59mm, listed as a front wheel for a C5
Front, 19 x 9.5, 59mm, listed as a front wheel for a C5
Front, 18 x 10.5, 59mm, listed as a rear wheel for a C5
Front, 19 x 10.5, 59mm, listed as a rear wheel for a C5
Front, 18 x 11, 53mm, listed as a rear wheel for a C5
Front, 19 x 11, 53mm, listed as a rear wheel for a C5 Z06

Rear, 19 x 11, 75mm, listed as a rear wheel for a C6
Rear, 20 x 11, 75mm, listed as a rear wheel for a C6

Then someone said they don't want to pay $3000 for track wheels ? Well, the Forgelines are about $1400 each and that's $5600 ! The Superleggera at about $900 each are about $3600. The Volk TE37 previously available for the C6 Z06 were about $1000 each and so the Forgelines are not too far away on pricing
.
$1000 for the TSW's and they are great fit perfect and are lightweight.

They rubbed my fender unless I was in 4x4 mode.

Mine worked fine they line up with the fenders perfect maybe it was the width difference on the tire. I ran 19/ 295 rear and 18/275 front. I had no issues whatsoever with rubbing and honestly the offset looked perfect on the car.

285s here. Took paint off the fender lips.

LG Motorsports makes a 18/19 track wheel that is .5" wider than stock with the proper offset. Looks like a good solution?

Has anyone tried a 325 mm Michelin Super Sport on a 19" x 11" Cray Hawk?

It's the same diameter as stock C7 rears and about 2" wider tread & cross section than 285's.

What amount of camber were you running on the corner that
rubbed your fender? I assume by 4x4 mode you mean not lowered?

Are those the GT2 wheels? I think they are around $6000 for the set.

Yes, GT2 wheels. I didn't catch the price being that high. Read it as the set selling for $1600. Which to me sounds reasonable for cast wheels? I'm certainly not interested for $6000 plus.
