I purchased and had installed a set of CarboTech performance brake pads on my 2015 Z51...The brake dust was terrible with my OEM'S.
WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Very little or no dust now on my black wheels...also I can feel an improved braking performance. The installer told me that the brake pads were a little harder than factory pads...but you can actually see and feel the difference..well worth the investment.

Got a set of these for my C7 and installed yesterday. With the OEM (Brembo Pads) and black Z51 wheels, the brake dust was unbearable, having to clean them constantly after just a mere 30-50 miles of driving.
Also was getting so much silver metallic dust behind front and rear wheels along lower body.
Today, after driving 75+ miles with the CT 1521's the wheels are as clean as they were when I left the house having just cleaned them.
No more brake dust all over the paint, and to echo some others in the post I feel like they grab a little quicker than the factory pads.
Had a little noise (sounded like truck air brakes) immediately after installing them yesterday, but not a peep from them today.

You can switch your pads to the Carbotech 1521 if you prefer not to clean your wheels every day. The 1521 should cut your brake dust a significant amount and is a 100% non-corrosive dust will not harm your wheels or paint. I have a 2015 Z51 with 2400 miles on it. I put a set of 1521's on it almost immediately because of the highly dusty OEM pads and I've been extremely satisfied with them. I recently completed the new owner school out at Spring Mountain, and I'm considering entering an occasional SCCA Track Night event in the intermediate group. The people at Ron Fellows told us they leave everything stock on their cars, including the brake pads, so my question is, why would the 1521's not be suitable for that kind of track usage (3 x 20 minute sessions with 40 minutes in between) once a month or so?
