I have a 2015 Corvette Z51 and am using on the street and on the track. Using the stock brakes/rotors/pads I'm wearing through the stock pads in 3 track days. The rotors also have to be replaced with every other set of pads. I would really like to use something that lasts longer but still works on the street. Increased braking performance would be nice but not the primary objective. What suggestions do you have that might work for me?

Perfect for track day use with any tire and can still be driven safely to and from the track. Carbotech™ does NOT recommended XP8™ as a daily driven street pad due to elevated levels of dust and noise. Carbotech™ XP8™ is a great compound on the front & rear of most open wheel and sports racers.

As far as noise every car is different you may experience some loud squeal at low speed with low pressure stops. Some will tell you they daily drive on this combo some will say no way its personal preference. If you where willing to change pads for street and track than I would just use the 1521 on the street and swap pads for track days. Are Carbotech compounds are compactable with each other so, you can use same rotors no cleaning just swap pads and go.

Thanks for the info. Once I'm through this next set I'll I have to do something.
I also want to look into rotors, especially since the stock ones need those stupid cooling rings.

Just installed these last week (XP12 in front XP10 in rear) and did a Track Day at Waterford Hills. Big improvement on my lap times. Was able to brake way later. Dust wasn't too bad and the stock rotors look good. Thanks Adam!
