Hi Chris,

I'd go with 1-7/8"

http://www.c7corvettepartsandaccesso...7-8-C778WC.htm

Should give you peak HP and Torque without Heads/CAM/FI

Regards
Chip

These mid lengths look good priced and no chance of light is always good. I wonder cost of install around me in south florida. We have few vette places I'll have to call.

Also warranty issues worry me, god forbid an engine goes, they'll come back to say the headers caused it because it messed up airflow out of heads. lol

That would be against the law. Read the Moss-Magnuson Act

Its not the headers that voids the warranty - its the tune...

I have 2 Questions on Middies... Why doesn't ARH do 1 /8" middies like the Kooks I have on my G8? Or.. would that trigger codes?

#2. How much to have them coated? That should help with heat from my experiences.

Because you would drop Torque

Will the untuned mids cause the air/fuel trim to get messed up or will the ECM recalibrate itself? Also that when adding a CAI?

The ecbm can handle the Mid's and a CAI

The full length need a tune.

ARH has not published flow data for the C7 yet (that I'm aware of)

HP for the Mids is about 10-15 vs 40-45 for the LT's with a tune

CCA you're saying ARH mids with cats will only net 10-15 hp? Wow I was expecting 25-30 with this mod. I guess I'll rethink this before I pull the trigger.

My numbers with ARH mids and an X-pipe were 21hp/25tq RW gains. this was with NO tune.

I would be curious to see what the ARH mids would be with a quality tune. I will be getting Them soon but not tuning them right away. Maybe in a year or two I'll do the tune closer so the end of the warranty.

We just sold a set to a guy that was going to get a tune...I'll check with
him in a few weeks and see what he says...

Then they run cool!
