Have the differentials been holding up with this kind of power? Also, how has the new auto tranny been with this power?

So far so good on all accounts here.

The car in the beginning of this post was my old car lol …it was sold to a nice couple in northern Ky… I'm told its running strong a year later with no issues… this was the first C7 with this kit. So the lab rat is still alive

Is this the methanol that you personally use? If so, how much of a little bump in HP do you get from running VP Racing Fuels M1?

I hesitate to even ask these questions because I could be opening Pandora's box

Would I have any hope of traction with z51 tire choices ?
I understand i would be voiding the engine warranty from gm but would I be out of luck if the trans took a dump? I'm guessing I would be.

what would a package like this cost installed with the headers ?

Traction is a real concern. This is one of the reasons I seriously consider the z.

But my logical side of my brain says mod what I have and save a lot of $$$ heck just sales tax on a z and I could pay for a blower

Well I run 285mm front and 325mm rear tires on my stingyray . I have way more power than a Z .. On warm days and getting tires really warm. It will hook 2nd.. 1st has hooked on road courses. On street just cruising where tires don't get real warm first spins a lot 2nd spins some. It's just throttle control. Not bad at all. I can launch on the street in second with launch control and beat stock stingray to 60mph.
I ordered the Z for the down force and stiffer suspension for the road courses

Not with the stock blower that comes on it.

Modded for modded the C6 ZR1 will still be king at 850rwhp.

I'm about 650rwhp and I had to switch wheels and tires. I'm running a 315 on the rear wrapped in Toyo 888s. They are fantastic. I would spin through 4th gear on the stock rubber.

Old thread no doubt. BUT.... how many of these cars (Motors) are still alive now after 5 years ? Not including garage queens that only put on a couple thousand miles.
