About 5% greater flow for the Oiled Filter.

Not really an issue because both will flow at a greater rate than the car
can use.

Ok,

Straight from Airaid's R&D Department...

- Flows 220 CFM (2.2X the OEM Paper Filter)
- HP Gains are 7-11
- Torque Gains are 8-12
- Filtration is 99.9% up to 2 Microns

Dyno sheets to release to the public late next month

The stocker flows only 100CFM? Holy hell... that seems a bit scary.

How do these compare to other company's filters (K&N, etc....)?

Which of these filters do you recommend?

There has been lots of talk about the K&N, but they are not
available and the filtration is historically been less than the Airaid.

The simple truth is that the Airaid will flow more air than the car
can use.

I like the oiled filters, but that is just personal preference.

For ease of use the Synthamax is what most people are getting.
The Synthamax only flows 5% less than the oiled filter so it still
out performs the capacity of the car to take to take air.

We've sold them out of all on hand units.

When I spoke to them this afternoon they were ramping up production
and thought they would be shipping mid to late next week.

Realistically I'd be expecting 5-8hp and tq. Slightly better mpg's too.

Worth the 100 bucks IMO.

Received mine today, will install tonight, anyway where is the dyno chart? Sounds like they already have it. What's so secretive about "releasing it to the public" ?

Not sure, but I would guess it has to do with their legal department...

Done!, took about 40 minutes to swap, took my time cleaning the parts as i disassembled along, definitely an improvement in throttle response, and seat of the pants dyno feels something, yet to test it on the highway though...
