I should probably update this as last weekend I trekked out to the North Carolina mountains and did almost 400 miles in the twisty stuff...
Went with my Audi group so there were R8's, TTRS's, RS4's RS6's and a lot of worked over quattros. When we go, we go to have fun and DRIVE!
The car worked absolutely great through days of some very hard and technical runs. 2 friends drove the car and had a big thumbs up for the feel, compliance and overall behavior.
My friend just got his set on and loves how the car feels now...
Again, The best $300 you'll spend on the car if you value handling..

None...Lube well before installing. Chevy makes a grease for this as Does Energy Suspension specifically for Poly bushings....

My dealer will be installing my Z51 sway bars before delivery. Talked them into doing for me as a long time customer.

Just heard back from Gene Culley that the Z51 sway bars are on backorder with no ETA. Also, that the bushings in the Z51 bar kit are rubber, not poly, nor can he get poly bushings.
Maybe this is no big deal, but it was a surprise that they aren't poly if the OEM Z51 bars have them and that is what he is ordering, after all.
Is it possible that GM changed production Z51 bars to rubber?

The sway bars are currently on backorder with no ETA. I am asking all of our customers and friends to send me an email with their information and I will put you into a contact list and in line for them when they are available.

I was not aware that the stock bushings were poly. That's my bad, lol. I don't claim to know everything. I have not seen GM really use poly bushings on production vehicles. If he says they are poly, then he is correct!

Gene any update on availability? And have you confirmed if the bushing currently shipping will be rubber or poly?

Thanks

The bushes I received in the kit from Gene were definitely Poly...not squishy rubber like came on the car's stock front bar.. I was happy to see this.
I've put a lot of swaybars on cars over the years and have always used poly on upgraded bars with no issues. Just lube generously with the proper formula. I use Energy Suspension lube, though apparently GM makes some too..

PN#'s shipped were 22950835 and 22950841

Super, I'm getting closer. Dealer called confirming he's getting one last allocation on June 12th (mine) so my LRG coupe should be home in July. Talk about cutting it close. The last consensus.

Hopefully Gene can get parts.

Maybe I missed it what what are the torque specs on the various nuts/bolts?

And this will be the first accessory I order for my new C7, so Gene will get my first mod money.

Now that I have a set on order... Anyone know what the torque specs are?

I did this to my 08 but used the ZO6 bars and it seemed to handle better than my 09 Z51. This the first thing I am going to do to the 2015 Coupe when it comes in. The gearing on the base and Z51 automatic really make little to none in the 1/4 mile, maybe at the most 1/2 tenth if that.

Did the exhaust have to come off to do this? I was looking at the weaponX brand sway bars but the we page says the exhaust has to come odd and it's like a 5 hr professional job. I just saw this thread that we can use z51 oem bars so I'm pretty excited about this mod. Got an email out to gene on parts and availability. I just need to know what basic tools are required for install as I don't have a lift.
