Default Front Tow Hook for C7... How To

.

Where and how can a front tow hook be installed in the front nose of the C7?

Not sure what happened to the oem version.
I have the foam case for it, though.

Are there any manufacturers making tow hooks for the C7 yet?

Looking for something similar to the below pic.

Thanks.

There's no provision for them on the US C7s for some reason. The rear bumper has the little square but there's no boss behind it to thread into! I guess all to save a few bucks. Really stinks as it'd make for an easy tow hook install. That said, wrecker drivers at the tracks can easily hood to the suspension or use a special sling that straddles the car and hooks to the wheels. Never really seen the need for a tow hook at an HPDE. I use mine on my race car to winch the car in the trailer every time.

There is also a removable section in the front grille on both sides.
There is a post about some people's grille piece falling out.

Here is a picture of the front grill removable section to access the tow-hook area. Of course there is no receptacle for a tow-hook.
