Default Black Chrome PVD

Do you have any photos of Forgelines in their Black Chrome PVD finish?

Yes I've done quite a few sets already and just put two more in last week. They're my personal favorite right now! Here are some pics on Brian's Z06. It's a tough color to capture in pics for sure but it's incredible in person. It's black, it's smoke, it's chrome, racy, and luxury all in one finish.

"capturing" black chrome is tough but these give you a great idea

Thanx!! Beautiful. What I really like is its a material applied onto highly polished aluminum, so it's not chrome at all, but much more durable and much better looking -- looks like black chrome should look.

That I am. From the Forgeline website:

Our new "Black Chrome PVD" finish is a unique combination that starts with a polished surface finish and then gets combined with a Black PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating. This unique finish provides an appearance very similar to black chrome, but with the benefits of a much more durable pvd coating (which is less susceptible to corrosion and chipping than real chrome)!

Which style are you interested in? I've put more Forgelines on C7s than anyone out there so as the thread title says, you'll get the best price right out of the gate

The DS3. What do you think? It's sorta old school.

Do you ever work with Joe@CPR? I live in the Phoenix area and prefer to do all my C7 stuff thru him.

Besides the DS3, does Forgeline carry anything similar to the 2016 base wheels?

I love the look and Joe is a great guy! I just did a set of these on a Z in 18s.

For something like OEM twin spokes, this would be it!

Ben can you post more pics of Z51 with 18's. I think that is the set up I would like to go with. Even 17's up from and 18's out back if possible. If not 18's all around would work.

This was my 18/18" setup originally. The fronts are x6 and the rears are x11

I lowered the car on the factory bolts while I had the wheels off too.

These are custom 3pc wheels at amazing prices and are the perfect offset to run wide tires.
For track racing we can do a square setup of 18x9, 9.5, or 10" all around.
For drag racing we can do 18x6 to 18x10" fronts and 18x10 to 11.5" rears.

Enjoy!

love the fat rears and skinnies up front in this pic

perfect offset up the sides

good bye....

I actually did that CR3 setup on a Z06. Center was Carbon Flash black and the lips were transparent red on a white Z. I never got pics. I'll hit him up as I think they'd look like a throwback killer wheel myself!
