You do not have to remove the wheel liner to get the front bumper off. 3 fasteners, then reach in and disconnect the side lights and that's all that needs to be done in the fender liner area.

This thread has been extremely useful, also this thread is a must if your car panels are tight like mine were. There are a couple more bolts that required loosening. PLEASE read this is you are having any issues popping off the bumper cover near the headlights.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...e-install.html

After loosening these extra bolts, it was a breeze. Just remember to align and tighten after.

Thanks Theta and others for the great info.

For those that switched to the Z06 grill did the flush license plate frame fit afterwards?

No. New aero kit and new scrivets are needed.

Well thanks for clearing that up although it is a bummer.

Anyone from a no front plate state looking to sell their aero kit and scrivets? PM me. Thanks.

This thread was extremely helpful. I did have trouble with two m7 bolts just under each headlight. You have to remove all fasteners listed, then lift up the from fascia a bit and use a long extension to loosen them to pop the fascia up. Be sure to align the fascia and re-tighten when you re assemble.

Watching the video I get the sense this is a 30-45 minute project to remove, and about the same to reinstall. Does that seem correct?

Pretty much... One man job too until you get to where you release the nose from the two top tabs. You might want to have a helper when you remove the bumper at the last step. Be sure you have a nice LARGE soft cloth down on the floor under the nose. That way you won't scuff up the paint.

I blew my engine and need to remove the oil tank for cleaning (2017 Z06). I have the GM service manual and have read a lot of post. To get it out you need to remove the front right fender which requires you to remove the front bumper cover/Faicia (sp). There are two screws that appear to be connect the bumper cover to the front right fender. These seem impossible to get at.
I have included a picture to help. Circled in red is the right side side marker electrical connection for reference and circle in yellow are the two screws I am taking about. What am I missing here???

Thanks.

^^^^^^^^^

watch the video above and at the 4:10 point you will see what is going on there. you dont remove those screws those screws hold the clip that the notches in the bumper cover fit into. you may have to pull pretty hard to get the cover to come out of that clip but it will pop out.
