Third party Diablo tune dyno results?
Has anyone installed the diable 93 octane tune and have their own before and after dyno results?
So far I only see one hotrod article that looks sponsored and lots of owners posting that it "feels" faster.

FWIW: I've been running the 93 octane tune. Last week I had to take the car to the dealer so I reflashed the stock tune back in. I will say that the car is more responsive and a much better drive with the Diablo 93 tune and AFM/DOD and traction control turned off.
I just installed the AFE tune a few minutes ago. I'll be out and about this afternoon and I'll post up impressions then.

The aFe chart is in the '3 warranty friendly mods' thread floating around here somewhere.

and 93 tune without CAI is +20Hp +30TQ so there is no reason to mess with the CAI?
Still have not seen a 3rd party dyno of either tune.

If you used the same dyno for your 93 tune and the CAI tune we would see the difference in WHP if the AFE CAI does anything over the stock CAI with 93 tune.

Doesn't add up to me the LT1 is SAE certified at 460 hp and 465 lb-ft with NPP and M7 all cars make the essentially the same power from the factory just like the LS3 and LS7 before it.

The stock CAI intake has already been modified and proven to put out almost the same results as the aftermarket CAI. That is probably the reason why we do not see as many vendors for the aftermarket CAI for the C7. GM did a very good job in that department this time. The tune for this car is the big enhancement.

edit: Within the data, the max difference was +13HP/+13TQ in the low 5k RPM range

This compares the baseline (Run1) vs. aFe CAI on the stock TB and manifold (Run14):

Those numbers are about right for an aftermarket intake. However, there are not concrete numbers for Jeremy Formato's modified stock C7 CAI intake. Jeremy actually modified his car without headers and an aftermarket air box. He took his car to the track and ran 122 trap speed 1/4, which I did in fact witness. So, actually there is no comparison for both mods. Sorry, I was just speculating on the dyno numbers for modified air box mod.

I see, thanks for responding so quickly. Also, after I updated the Intune yesterday, the standard 93 Octane tune was gone and I noticed an aFe Intake 93 Octane tune instead. Is that one the same as the one I initially put on the car?

What is an aFe intake? If the 93 tune requires a special intake should the 91 tune be used instead?
