On almost every car we do we achieve our numbers without methanol. Some other shops are using methanol as a fuel source to get enough fuel to the engine on boosted applications. Only problem with that is if the methanol pump fails or runs out the engine will run lean and hurt itself. If you see us running methanol, it is just for safety.

So with meth over 800rwhp is possible at 9psi? Why no real gain on torque numbers with cam? I am asking because I am looking at similar build with meth?

Yes, 800rwhp could have been achieved with this car using methanol but then it would be dependent on the methanol and pushing the limits of the factory short block. This car has our stage 1 cam shaft.

Yeah that makes sense. That's an awesome looking build.

About an 80% power increase on 9psi. Nice!
