Default March Car Died Update

In March I posted that my C7 died at a traffic light. The dealer had my car for 9 days and could not duplicate or identify the problem. Thanks to this forum, I was contacted by two other C7 owners who had experienced a similar problem. In both cases their drive train and engine had to be replaced. I gave my dealer the names and phone numbers of the mechanics that had repaired the other two C7's. The next day I was told that they had ordered a new engine and drive train for my car. I have not had a similar problem since. Without the helpful responses of those forum members, I might still be driving a rental.

Hi, what was the cause of the problem? It looks like my 2014 C7 has a similar problem going on and maybe in the meantime (this post is from 8 years ago) maybe something more is known about this?
Thanks in advance!
