I had the Corsa xtreme catback setup put on mine at delivery but wasn't happy with the sound as compared to my old C6 with the Corsa Sport. Had the X-pipe installed yesterday and all I can say is wow, it's a totally different sound now. Much much more volume increasing sound to maybe a little above what I had wanted. Anyone who thinks the NPP system isn't quite loud enough will be more than happy putting this on I'd say. Once you take off the stock pipe you can see how blocked it really is by those cats/resonators. I even got some more burble on deceleration back that I was use to in the C6. The increase in burble is sort of opposite of what I read on the internet, so I was surprised a bit by that.

If I may ask, what is the lowest price that you all have been able to get one of these for? PM me, if you wish.

No. It makes the system a little louder but you have to change the mufflers if you want a really loud sound.

Please advise back good info, thanks
I installed the x pipe from Corsa. No problems, goes right in, the makes the sound a little louder. No code problems either. I want to get a louder system but not for 1,700 from Cosa.

Default muffler system

I have done the x pipe and it helps make the system louder. But I want it louder. Does anyone have any ideas to do this, without spending $1,700 from Corsa for their system (which by the way does sound pretty good)?

How does this X-pipe differ from the stock to make such a sound difference and as some say maybe even 20% better flow?

It removes the second set of cat/resonators that aren't monitored with 02 sensors. These are filled with a honeycomb material that block the airflow. Without these the air is free to flow without interruption. After looking at the inside you would think it flowed 50% better. I would definitely believe their claim of 20 and I'm sure they measured.

so, let's see.

< $500
- ~ 2 lbs
+ ~20% airflow
Better sound in Sport/Track mode
Same sound in Eco mode

Pretty awesome if you ask me
