Here's a pic of how the kits ship now. I think they're pretty clean.
The one piece silicone hoses to and from the intercooler are a new addition.

We also run a "straightener" in all the MAF tubes. This made a huge difference in drivability.
There's an inverted bead in the tube just behind the honeycomb to make absolutely sure there is no possibility of the piece becoming dislodged.

even sent me free upgrade's for my early kit.

The kit is great,but the should do a custom air filter cover,because i did cut the factory air filter cover but the hose doesn't attach to it well,so i duct tape over the clamp & air filter cover
