I know that the offsets for the fronts are the same and offset for the rears are only 1 mm different so that's not an issue. I'm sure that the older polished C6 wheels will not clear the rear brake caliper but the 09 polished Gumbys have a lot more clearance. ????

Bob,
Do you have first hand experience or some other source of info?

My 09 Z51 conv came with gumby's, I changed the wheels on my 09 to cup wheels the fit was the same as gumby's.
( the z51 comes with larger rotors so you need a different wheel to clear the rotor.
I tried fitting my cup wheels on the front of my new Z51, I needed a 1/4" of spacers, to clear the caliper.
I used 1/2 flat washers from home depot it took a total of 3 which measured 1/4".
If I thought it was safe to drive on them my car would have those cup wheels on it, because they have brand new Micheline's on them.
Give it a try, buy a pack of 1/2 washers at home depot, you will need 3 on each lug to clear the caliper, you will have about 1/2 of the lug nut sticking out, I don't mind shimming out wheels but on a car like this I'm nervous.

I definitely would not shim with washers...use ONLY to determine fitment... Buy the correct spacers and you'll be fine..

Bob,
Thanks for that info. I'd like to keep this post active because I'd still like to hear from someone that actually tried putting real Gumbys on their car. I'm not a fan of "spacers" and if that's what I have to do to make them work I'll probably look at other possibilities. We're talking small distances here. Attached are photos of my Gumbys on my 09 Z51. The outer edge of the brake caliper has 1 7/32 inches of clearance and the inner edge of the caliper has 23/32 inches of clearance.
