Vengeance Racing rocks
Took my car to Vengeance today for Mike Carnahan to finalize the tune on the dyno and he nailed it in short order. It drives better than stock down low and has 600+ lb-ft from ~3500-6000 rpm. The guy is a wizard with this ECU.
I was pretty nervous after having my car down for 5 months so I asked him to be real conservative and peak power was 668 rwhp after three pulls and I decided that was good enough for now. The ECS Novi 1500 blower with no restrictor plate and 4" pulley made ~8 psi of boost on the 416 ci so I can get the smaller pulley if I decide I need more power.
Had lunch with Ron and the crew while Mike was tuning and they are top notch cool guys, especially shop manager Jey who answered the IAT breakout wiring question for me the other day.
In summary, I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend Vengeance.

I actually stopped by there at lunch to talk about a potential ECS S/C install on my. Top notch place and very approachable. Personally, I find allowing customers to view the works areas says a lot about them. Very open, up front and honest group of guys there.
Now to convince the wife that the car needs another 200hp.

This is what it sounds like at idle for anyone who is wondering what this cam and exhaust combination sounds like. idlesounds - YouTube
Two questions:
- Do you always have the under-the-hood heat extractor removed? If so, any issues with overheating?
- Where did you get those "Supercharged" badges? I gotta have a couple of those.

Yes, I usually leave the hood duct out as it tends to crowd the radiator and blower lines together and obstructs my view of things I like to check like blower clamps. No overheating issues

Could you please email me a close up photo of your S/C badge? Or, post one here on this thread.

Also, what is the length of the badge.
Thanks, Mariano
