Default Whats needed to add F/R Z51 brake cooling ducts to base C7

I have a base C7 and plan to upgrade the entire brake system at some point. What is necessary to implement the brake cooling duct system from the Z51 to the base model? Is it even possible?

I would assume I need the two ducts for the rears, the deflectors for the front, two ducts for the front, and possibly different front grill inserts for where the air comes in as these are blocked off on the base model. Is that about right and if so does anyone have the part numbers for these items?

Thanks

Ant

I am with you on the addition of Z51 cooling ducts. I know the base has 4 separate part numbers for the upper/lower/, L/R "block offs. So there must be part numbers for the lower L/R Z51 brake ducts openings. I also hope to see some correct Z51 brake duct part numbers on this thread.

Oh really! I am definitely interested, Ben. Do you have all the pieces I would need to make them work? Shoot me a PM with a price. Thanks!!!

Default Z51 brake ducts

I would still liike to know the Z51 part numbers for the L&R lower grille openings that have the brake duct opening rather than the "block off".

Dont worry.. This will turn into a DIY with all info necessary once I can get all the part numbers, pics, etc done.

I went to a Vette show today and took another look at the brakes on a Z51. Looks like there is a duct AND a deflector for each corner of the car. Can anyone with a Z51 confirm this for the front and rear?

Also, I took a pic of the opening on the front grill where the brake cooling duct work begins on the Z51's:

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but here is a shot of my rear wheel-well with duct visible.

Yes this helps for sure. This indicates there is a deflector and a duct at each rear wheel. Do you have both these pieces on the fronts as well? If so then that would mean there are 8 total pieces needed to add this setup to a base...
