Default Valve Cover Stems on 2015 Z51

Hi all. Have a question. Took delivery of my new Corvette and have started to become acquainted with it. Any way I was going to put the Stingray Valve Caps on and noticed that the stock valve cover caps have a pearlessant green tip. Ok does anyone know why? I looked at them and for the life of me I do not think they change color when the pressure is down on the tire. Appreciate any feedback.
Thanks
Rich

GM probably just ran out of the gray ones.

Unless the valve caps are under the same pressure as the tire, they would not have any way to sense the tire pressure, thus changing color.
(unless your stems do not have a valve core)

Green originally meant filled with nitrogen but not sure that is true anymore.. however, they are filled with at least 78% nitrogen.
