Revisit Supercharged C7 vs C7 Z06
The C7 Supercharged was 615 no idea now.
Running right after a tune touch up! My tuner Tom Wong put a tune from another C7 that he put a kit on and tuned days before and left his shop with 570 Mustang dyno power.
He laid it over my tune and adjusted mine.
Sometimes less is more!
Then taking time to learn how to clear up some issues.
Then the teardown to clean everything up nice. Everything apart! 1 can of sea foam through the intake.
Times 2.
Now it is on track and the tq feels like it comes quickly and it flat runs great.
Running rock solid in all aspects. With no oil smell or oiling!
I do have 1 pint of 108 octane boost added to the tank.
The boosted cars like octane
Changed engine oil with 9.5 qt. Castrol Edge and a wix filter.
Sits half way on the cross hatching on the top of the dip stick
after 7 minutes wait when hot. Also fresh blower oil and filter.
I was considering buying the Z06 not saying I wouldn't want one and it would be great but
already have the C7 and the 40k plus difference to move up for ok better around a track but straight line I'll argue there. The Z06 would seem to be HARD pressed to keep pace.
Plus I don't track and am happy with the Z51 handling.
Beyond that the bragging right's that you have one is about all I'm seeing.
Interior not seeing where I'm gaining 1 thing 1lt to 1lt.
Love my comp seats I have now. The Blown C7 just is a blast. Actually wicked when everything is right. If you don't blow the tires. Any Stock C7 would be flat left in any race.
Power is off the charts!
My ZR1 seat of the pants tells me
Compared driving one to the other.
The Stingray feels quicker
then the top end pull is very hard. Feels like a 10 second car.
Running like stock till you get hit the go pedal.
Hit's triple digits QUICKLY! Would guess 130 plus traps no problem.
Just happy to get the C7 running and running well.

Their method blocks all routes for the oil to get in, Unless the tune is bad and then it that case the
1lt will breath heavy oil fumes out the venting.
If the tune is off and it starts fuming oil. It just compounds it self
once the oiling starts. Detination starts in, Then the oiling equal's more oiling. Loses power my 615 was not 615 anymore.
New tune feels TOTALLY BETTER better and stronger!

Yes sir! ECS's venting is prefered in my book.
