Thanks for the detailed instructions. I completed this install yesterday on my car and it went smoothly. I have a lift installed in my garage and I never had to remove the wheels.

Rather than using the plastic clip on the rear ducts I purchased two extra 11609989 bolts to ensure that the plastic wouldn't break. On my '15 Stingray the hole was already threaded.

Great job putting this together.

Hi Gene,

Can you post a link or the part numbers for the Z06 Front Control Arm and Knuckle Deflector kit (RH and LH)?

I do not need the duct kit as I purchased that from you a while back without realizing there were other parts needed.

Thanks Dave

If you go to my first page I have the part numbers for the deflectors listed and you can click them to order them off of Gene's site.

I had tried that but 3 of the links are not working.

hmm. I checked them and both the links for the deflectors for the front are working, but the links for the back deflectors are not. You may just need to give them a call and Gene can help you to get the right parts. It is possible the part numbers have changed.

Anthony,

Thank you for the referrals. For now, please contact me directly and I will send you a link to pay for the deflector kits.

For your convenience I will make the website allow you to only order the deflector kits without the brake ducts.

Thank you,
Gene.

Gene, just to make sure, the kit you guys sell comes with all the additional required fasteners that the op listed above? He also mentioned the rubber seal that mates the ducting up with the front grill, is that provided? And the website specifies 2015-2016(ZO6 years), I'm assuming this fits a 14 just fine, can you confirm this for me? edited to add more questions

Hi,

There are quite a few versions of things that look like the fender liner clips at my store. Can you tell me the pin diameter and reach of the clip?

On my 2106 C7, the locations where this guide says use the plastic clips, to hold the front of the duct in place, my car has threaded holes and fit the standard bolt P/N 11519376.

Looks like there is a part number for the entire front end ducting kit: 23383592. I'd still like to know if the kit comes with the necessary fasteners or not, anyone have any idea?

Now if you notice at this point you can see a very noticeable gap between the front grill and the duct. This gap is also very ugly from the front of the car as well. On the Z51/Z06's there is a rubber piece surrounding the duct making it a better fit, but still not how I actually chose to mount mine. I actually chose to take a notch out of the plastic mounting area, and put the tab behind the mounting hole. I then used a zip tie to hold it in place like this:

here is a comparison of the factory mounting way and the large gap that it presents outlined and my way of mounting side by side from the front of the car to show the difference:

As you can see it looks much more aesthetically pleasing, and its quite secure in there with the zip tie.

Ant,

Any idea where I could find that rubber seal they use on the Z51/ZO6 to marry the ducting up to the front grille?

Unfortunately not. Im not sure if it is even a separate part since I bought my ducts second hand.

Talked to Gene at Cultrag, turns out GM doesn't offer just that piece for sale, so ZO6 grille in the future it seems, thanks for the reply.
