Quarter Mile Times with ECS?
I am curious as to what kind or quarter mile times C7s are getting in the manual and new 8speed auto with the ECS supercharger. I am here on the west coast and any turn key shops in CA or AZ people recommend? What is typical cost with or without alky system? Looks like a nice setup as been looking at edelbrock, procharger and ecs.

My car has 672 to the wheels, 2014 a6 with a circle d convertor, ECS 1500, Meth headers, Lmr catch can, I took it to the track, 35 degrees out, I spun like crazy on off the throttle, finally I let go the car planted and off I went, I let off about 200 ft shy of the finish line as I pass the other car, I went 130 and change trap, horrible 60 2.2 I feel with the right tires good launch the car should run 135-140 mpg maybe Doug could chime in, this weekend going back with foregines and M& H Slicks to see what she can do

Will be running the No Fly Zone AZ 1/2 mile on March 7th.
My 2015 A8 non-Z51 was trapping 141 in the 1/2 mile before the supercharger.
Will report back with some stats in a couple weeks.

So, straight line performance, one can surmise that a 585 rwhp Z06 vs. a 700 rwhp Stingray might lead someone to conclude that the 700 rwhp car has the upper hand. True as that may be, on a track, the Z06 still might have an edge because of the more aggressive tires, suspension, down force, etc. Driver mod aside, it depends what you're goals are.. Are you going to track the car? Are you going to drag the car? Either way, both will leave you with a smile. For me, I prefer straight line performance.
Whether I win or not, I will feel EXTREMELY confident that I can beat a "factory" Z06 in straight line acceleration with my unrestricted ECS supercharger, ECS meth, long tube ARH's if I'm hitting 700+ rwhp on the dyno. Both setups have their strengths and weaknesses.

Dynojet... I expected to get closer to 550, but from what I am told; headers, meth, and possibly cam is needed to get into the 700 range. My car has only the ecs kit bolted to a stock 15 c7.
I'll be interested to see what Doug @ECS thinks on this..

If I recall correctly I think the highest we made was in the 740's rwhp. Most of them stay around the 700 mark though.
I have not done race fuel testing, we could make a few more ponies from timing advance, but that was the end of the line for fuel either way. It would need a cam swap and fuel system to proceed any farther.

I have had a couple hiccups on mine, but doing another tuning session with Patrick G tomorrow morning. I have built my motor now, and is a 416 stroker with Greg Good heads, and a custom cam, mix of 93/116 race gas, and dual nozzle meth. I was just trying to figure out where this thing should end up based on others experience from a similar build.
