Front Splitter and Z51 Air Dam
I have a front splitter for my 2014 Z51 convertible. The two front air dams do not fit back on the car very well and I decided to temporarily leave them off as I am going to be removing the front bumper for the Z06 grille install when it comes off of backorder.
I know in other threads I have seen people mention cooling issues and stability problems at high rates of speed with the two Z51 deflectors missing.
Do I need them with the splitter and if so, have you guys had to modify your airdams or splitters to get them to work in conjunction with each other?
I have some fitment issues I am trying to resolve with the splitter. I am talking to the manufacturer about them and would prefer not to mention their name, etc. until it is resolved and we decide what exactly needs to happen to get it to fit properly.

I have the ACS front splitter on mine and the air dam pieces underneath fit perfectly. After seeing it installed, I opted to removed them because I felt it gave a cleaner look. Mine is a base and not Z51. I haven't experienced or foresee any cooling issues from removing them.

GM leaves them on with the factory Z06 front splitter, so I plan to leave mine on... I am going to install the Level 1 Z06 front spoiler on mine as soon as I can get one...
