Additional Notes:

Current supported 3rd party hardware modifications with specific individualized calibrations (via individualization request):

Headers:

+ ARH (American Racing) 1-7/8" Long Tube headers

+ Kooks 2" Long Tube headers

+ TSP (Texas Speed) 1-7/8" Long Tube headers

Intakes:

+ aFe Momentum intake

+ aFe Momentum intake with ARH (American Racing) 1-7/8" Long Tube headers

Forced Induction:

+ ProCharger

+ ProCharger with ARH (American Racing) 1-7/8" Long Tube headers

+ ProCharger with Kooks 2" Long Tube headers

TRIFECTA Transparency Mode:

With the current generation of TRIFECTA's flash loader solutions and the TRIFECTA Transparency featureset, when flashing your vehicle, the TRIFECTA flash loader does not increment the ECM write counter or increment entries in the flash history.

This applies when flashing: a TRIFECTA Performance Calibration, TRIFECTA Individualized Calibration, or the Stock OE GM Calibration files

The TRIFECTA Chevrolet Corvette C7 / Corvette C7 Z51 MY2014+ Powertrain Calibration Reprogramming will match all CVNs, hash IDs, checksums, and signatures of the OE GM Powertrain Calibration.

We standardize on a policy of not incrementing the write counter or increment entries in the flash history because in our opinion the flash history and ECM accumulated service history per controller module should be a reflection of (match exactly) the GM SPS/GDS programming history as per actual GM diagnostic service tool usage (server side) (timestamped).

Clearing or deleting entries from existing ECM/PCM flash history is available ONLY for TRIFECTA affiliates and TRIFECTA development partners

TRIFECTA ECM recovery:

With every TRIFECTA flash loader mechanism, a comprehensive flash recovery function featureset is included to recover the vehicle in case of a truncated or interrupted flash install. Our recovery feature will recover from any ECM state.

Remote vehicle diagnostics via datalogging:

Diagnostic Datalogging and Individualization (Custom tuning) is available upon request (requires relevant support package).

TRIFECTA Demo calibrations (TRIFECTA Try Before You Buy, name in progress, speed limited):

A demo calibration for completely stock vehicles is available by request. All TRIFECTA demo powertrain calibrations for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 / Corvette C7 Z51 MY2014+ include all current generation production featuresets with vehicle speed limited to 99 MPH (currently as of December 2014, subject to change at the discretion of TRIFECTA).

If you would like to experience a TRIFECTA powertrain calibration through the TRIFECTA demo program, please contact your region specific TRIFECTA retailer. Return to stock functionality is included with every TRIFECTA calibration.

With the current generation of TRIFECTA's flash loader solutions and the TRIFECTA Transparency featureset, when flashing your vehicle, the TRIFECTA flash loader does not increment the ECM write counter or increment entries in the flash history.

TRIFECTA Environmental Validation and Divergent Vehicle Operating Conditions Testing/Validation:

TRIFECTA's quality assurance and validation process calls for a minimum of 100,000 miles and 100hrs of full throttle accumulated as a prerequisite in order for the any software calibration or hardware to qualify for what we would consider release candidate or retail worthy.

This applies to all TRIFECTA production specification software or hardware prior to release: We don't want to retail anything that we are not 100 percent confident in overall power, reliability, consistent power delivery, and reliability in adverse conditions.

With any TRIFECTA powertrain calibration, the knock detection mechanisms and OE engine knock detection sensitivity is retained. We also test for adverse operating conditions including but not limited to different elevations, variations in temperature, a complete load and duty cycle test battery, poor fuel quality; with any TRIFECTA powertrain recalibration, the car will be as dependable as stock. We are confident in our product delivering consistent and safe increases in performance over the stock power levels.

Does not apply to third party hardware support and/or powertrain modifications. Applies to Stock/OE vehicle configurations ONLY.

Specific vehicle inquiries and/or individualization requests:

If you have any specific vehicle related questions and/or specific individualization related questions, please contact us @ info@trifectaperformance.com or visit WOT-tuning: www.wot-tuning.com for more information

Yes, we have full control over the shift points.

On the line pressures this transmission does not use an extrapolation of line pressures to dictate shift characteristics.

However, we have full control over the clutch to clutch (friction plate to friction plate) engagement pressures and speeds. We have separate table entries for full and part throttle.

I don't recommend disabling torque management outright as the shift characteristics in this transmission depends on accurate torque reporting to function without damage. However, yes torque management can be disabled and yes we already calibrate the torque management for faster shifting.

What mods do you have installed on your MY2015 C7 and is it Z51 equipped?

We are already working with a torque converter manufacturer and is in the process of testing an aftermarket billet 8L90 torque converter. When the development and validation process is complete a product announcement will be made.

Thank you,

Andrew,

Will the same cable I have for my Regal GS work with my C7?

Just an FYI for everyone I have put over 40K trouble free miles on my Regal GS that they tuned and I'm running the hotter tune they have that is done by request only.

I've driven it coast to coast, in sub zero temps, in the desert in 100 degree temps, never a single issue with it. I'm surprised the stock clutch is still in 1 piece after all these miles.

How do we get a free trial tune? Do you send a device to load it? If so which device do you use?

Why do you only support MY2015+? Are the 2014 ECMs that much different?

Thanks for the kind words and support!

The same flash loader cable can be used however a firmware update is required.

Would you like a promo calibration to try out? I'd be happy to dispatch a TRIFECTA calibration for your Corvette (anything C6 non-ZR1 and anything C7 non-Z06) as a thank you! for the past purchase!

Just send an email to info@trifectaperformance.com with a picture of a VIN tag on your vehicle (base of windshield or sticker on door/sill, your username on corvetteforum, and a shipping address and we'll dispatch a flash loader cable! (A laptop computer is required for installing updates, datalogging, and individualization/remote custom tuning)

Hello Papas02C5, we have the MY2014's (LT1 + 6L80) fully supported with similar power gains, however this announcement was meant primarily as a 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission and CCM support specific announcement. To effect a reliable power increase on a Corvette C7 is no longer special or unique with the abundant number of dedicated Corvette specialists in a growing market; however in our opinion being first to market and as currently the only supporting vendor on corvetteforum with calibration support (custom tuning) for the 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission equipped vehicles and the first and presently the only entity to offer CCM (chassis control module) reprogramming differentiates us better and showcases our independent capabilities.

We're also striving to support the established hardware within the Corvette C7 market, for example we already have specific calibrations (custom tunes) for ARH headers and Procharger supercharger kits: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...harged-c7.html

More hardware support with specific calibrations (ready to go custom tunes) is coming!

So to answer your question, Yes, the MY2014 Corvette C7's are fully supported and will offer similar power gains to the MY2015 Corvettes!

Thank you,

Andrew@TRIFECTA

It's winter here and its put away, plus car is for sale, most likely moving to a Z06 if I can get rid of it.

One thing though about the tune being hidden. From what I've been told and what others have experienced running the tunes on the 4 cylinders was safe at the dealer because GM did not really check, especially on the Buicks.

I took my car in all the time with no issues.

But on V8's anytime there was a warranty related question they always check.

What has been customer experience with this?

Does your team have the ability to work with E85? I see a few other vendors are doing this now, and I have just installed the flex fuel sensor. Would love to get my ARH/AFE Intake car ready to go on the corn

How is the stock tune put back after your trial is up? How long does the trial version last? I got your cable, just want to make sure stock tune doesnt get any permanant changes for detection. Do you make a copy of the stock first then reload it when done? Thanks.

Our E85 specific calibrations are still in development; we'll make an annoucement when its ready and after its completed our validation and testing. Its being worked on though!

Thanks,

Under the application menu when the calibration file is selected, there will be two options presented: Install Calibration (install custom tune) and then Return to Stock (install stock tune). The stock file is already included in all TRIFECTA calibration files. To clarify, the same file includes both the TRIFECTA calibration and the stock calibration.

Our demo/trial calibrations do not have a time limit (does not have an expiration date). You can install the demo/trial file and return to stock as many times as you prefer.

With the current generation TRIFECTA flash loader, the TRIFECTA calibration is undetectable by any current or known GM diagnostic tools (does not increment write counter, does not increment flash history entries, matches all CVN, checksums, and file hashes; retroactive flash history entry deletion for our partner/affiliates/friends/etc).

To clarify, when return to stock is selected on the flash menu, it will return the vehicle 100 percent to stock (will not leave any trace).

Sounds good, thanks. So is the trial tune a lesser tune than one that you buy? If there is no time frame for the trial to take itself off then I could just keep the trial one on? Im stock so not looking for a custom tune.

Our demo calibrations are vehicle speed limited versions of our retail calibrations. The demo calibration will include all production features from the Chevrolet Corvette / Corvette Z51 TRIFECTA calibration.

There is no time limit (does not have an expiration date) with our demo/trial calibrations. You can install the demo/trial file and return to stock as many times as you prefer. There is no time limit on the demo and you're welcome to try the demo calibration for as long as you'd like. Free to try!

Two questions:

Can I disable AFM with the tune software?
Other than email contact, is there any way to actually speak to a human being?

I'm almost sold on the elite tune package, I just want to be 100% sure I understand exactly what I am getting and exactly what I can do with that package. Ive read your website over many times but I just want a bit more detail on some of the features and I feel the best way would be to talk to someone.
