On other flex fuel setups I've noticed that the sensor has a bypass route when it is positioned on the high pressure side of a fuel system.....

In all the pics in this thread, I don't see a bypass loop?
Isn't this going to be a flow restriction at a certain power level?
Or is the sensor capable of outflowing the factory feedline?

I have been on mine for 5 months now, zero issue

Thx! I was doing some more digging, and found some info stating the sensor is good for 400 ltr/hr flow. Which is just about what the stock fuel pump is good for I believe.

In terms of enabling flex fuel is what you detailed below everything that has to be done in the tune? If so I need to check to see that EFILive has all of those tables/DTCs available.

Flex Fuel sensor part number 13577429(my favorite, OEM, cheaper and more compact)

Connector part number 13352241 (cut the end off and use the 3 existing wires) sensor pigtail has a black (ground), pink (Power), and a white (ECM). ECM C7 Pin is X1 Pin 38
http://paceperformance.com/i-8396465...r-harness.html

Use the factory Fuel line to connect to the entry end of the Flex fuel sensor and use a 3/8 quick disconnect to connect to the other end of the sensor and then connect to factory fuel supply entering the rail. I bought a C5 factory braided hose that is long enough and has the perfect ends, entire install will look OEM and be somewhat hidden.
Ill have everything Saturday and I will get pics up this weekend.

Here are the most important tables In the calibration dealing with E85
I can explain the tables if anyone wants additional input

Also go into DTC's and enable P0178 and P0179 which deals with the High/Low Circuit for the Flex fuel sensor(Pic is Above)
Also, as many of you can see the Spark tables are there and just needs the Stoich table modified like above. The C7 Z06 however all tables are Zeroed out dealing with alcohol. Some have reported in the tuning world enabling Alcohol ONLY with no changes of the Spark tables and gain 4MPH and 40hp. Basically for around $150 you can have C6 Z06 power, best bang for the buck mod I know of.

No, I have not listed my tune details as it's being used for retail. Those details shared were from another forum member

Thanks. I realize that. I don't expect anyone that paid for a tune to give away info. That is not fair for either customer or the tuner.

I was thinking that T/A Kid (or others) have been doing their own tuning and flex fuel enabling.

Once I figure out what EFILive has or doesn't have I will post the details here so that everyone knows.

If EFILive can do the job I'll post screen shots and an Excel spreadsheet so that the values can be easily cut and pasted as well.

You can ship me your ECM, and I will do the basic enabling for you.

Thanks. Where is the PCM located on a C7 and how hard is it to remove?

No side skirts. I assume that I have to get in there anyhow to snap the pin into the PCM connector, true?

just got done installing mine, real easy overall. Hardest part was the 10mm fender bolt on the inside of the fender. Once the connector was removed, I could fish it out between the fender on door. Had pleanty of room to open connector and insert pin. All good, vehicle runs normally. Now to get it to the tuner to make sure I did everything correct and it sees the sensor. More after next week

PS: my side skirts will be in late next week, glad I did this before I installed those...

Anyone running flex fuel and boost without meth? Is there enough pump to see the advantages of e85 on say 7-8 psi?

Nice looking setup from Dave. It looks like power and ground come from small harness in the picture. I assume that something is unplugged and then you just plug in the small harness.

there is enough in tank fuel pump but probably not enough HPFP or injectors.

Yes, Dave unplugs any of the coils and installs a jumper harness, truly plug-n-play. Even the wire for the ECU is stamped with the proper wording in case anyone sees it and wonders what it is and has the correct pin for the ECU. 5 minute install for the main part, about an hour to do the ECU, most of that time is getting access to the inner Rt Fender.

One correction. I use the ignition coil connection.
