The mag ride bar is a much larger hence stiffer bar. Unless you are auto crossing we would recommend stick with the standard z51 bar

So, I have read some posts on here that say the non mag sway bars don't stop the rolling. I have also read that the mag bars induce overseer. Which is true? Do dealers still refuse to install these on base cars?

I think you're reading a lot of nonsense. We have quite a few people who say the standard Z51 bars greatly increased the loss of body roll. In my opinion if you don't have the right tire width in the rear you will have oversteer with the mag ride, aka Z06 rear sway bar. I would not install that one unless you are doing autocross or road racing.
