Default Valve springs?

Can the valve spring be changed with out changing the cam & lifters, the V4 mode or the DOD is turned off in the tune. I know the stock cam lift is (.551"/.524"-200/207-116.5 LSA) (Rocker Ratio 1.81:1) I've got a A&A supercharger & Kook Long tube headers and X pipe. And wondering with the quick rev, is the valve spring keeping up. On the dyno in the top of the rpm the engine drops off before the rev limiter. Just wondering if its valve float. I have a new set of PRC .660" lift spring with titanium retainers setting here for a LS3 build that I was going to use them on , but didn't use them. I know they will fit the LT1's ,But will I have to do a DOD delete ? Don't want to pull the heads right now.

I know on the LS style engine, they were bad for valve float , mainly on the M6 cars. They were bad for eye browing the pistons

Might be combustion efficiency. I've had to play around in the tune to get rid of ripples like that. It wasn't valve float in the few instances that I've seen that on these cars.

I have a new set of your .660 lift springs , is that to much for the LT1's What's the stock springs rated at ? the stock cam is .550 lift. You would think the stock springs would be rated higher than .550 for a safety margin.
