Default "A" Pillar Covers

Does anyone know how to remove the exterior A pillar covers? I thought that they might snap out after removing the one screw at the lower end but I can't get that to work?

Thanks in advance

Remove the rubber weather stripping seal from the A pillar(door seal), and you will see the torx screws that need to be removed . I removed mine when I installed the Carbon Fiber A-pillars

He is talking about the (outside) A-pillar covers that are carbon flash met.
