Default Rear Diffuser WeaponX or RK sport

Hi. I was just wondering has anyone install the rear diffuser on their C7? and which one they have done. The RK sport is roughly $250 cheaper. Just curious if the fit is different. Any help is great help Thanks in advance

Weapon X makes these parts specifically for the C7 and CTS-V.

RK Sport makes parts for Cavaliers.

Your choice.

I haven't seen the RK one, but can say in person the WeaponX diffuser is a work of art. Definitely badass!!!

I have quite a few diffusers out there now with plenty of reviews

I can tell you that no modification is needed for mine to fit; however, since RKS chose to make the middle wider to accommodate foreign license plates, that last I heard, the plastic crush zone needed trimmed for theirs to sit properly.

I'll add that the customer service with Ben at WeaponX is also worth mentioning. He's not just a vendor, he's an enthusist like many of us making an honest business of his passion. Plus - his diffuser is badass!

Ben's has the best "OEM" look to it for those of you that want the part to look factory. Not too aggressive, and not too bland. Just right in that regard. Personally, I like something a little bit more aggressive such as the Borla diffuser which looks like freddy kruger's sticking his claws out the back of the car. I am surprised in general that there aren't more diffuser styling options out there though I must say..

Borla website says it only fits with their mufflers system as I have stock mufflers which i would like to keep. is this true?

yes unfortunately that is indeed the case. I would like to make a bracket adapter to get one mounted without their muffler requirement because I like their design, but I am overall against their philosophy that you must buy one to get the other in this regard..

Ben, really nice work. That looks fantastic! Will be in contact with later this year when I start the cosmetic part of the project.

Btw is that a magnaflow exhaust in the pic?

I think Ben may have the B&B Fusion on there.

Ben did you ever test the functionality of the Diffuser? Is there any added rear downforce. I really like the look of it, but am looking for race track functionality.

APS makes one also, last time I checked it was $1400. I do not know the quality or anything else about any of these diffusers. If anyone has any knowledge please info me. Thank you

I'm actually shocked that you are ok with your CF weave on the diffuser going the opposite direction as the weave on you license plate frame. At least it looks that way in the pic..
