Default Supercharger vs Twin turbo???

I had a C6 with a Procharger out in Las Vegas. I continusly had heat issues if the temp got over 110 degrees. My coolant temp would climb over 240 degrees and my AC would cut off. Talk about horrible, stuck in traffic with no AC and its 110 degrees out.. I have a new C7 arriving in a couple weeks and started shopping for a Forced induction system, but I'm very reluctant to use Procharger again. I was thinking all under the hood systems would probably have the same result so maybe try STS rear mount TT system. Any thoughts, advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated.. Thank you

All forced induction setups will create more heat so to blame it solely on Procharger is irresponsible. I would never run a sts kit if going the turbo route. Any FI setup you choose you need to have good working fans and a upgraded radiator but living in places with extreme heat it's gonna be hard to shake the temps from rising.

Why not STS? What one would you use?

The lack of AC in hot climates had a LOT of factors that lead to it. (Not just ProCharger users)

However, with the C7 we have a system designed for road racing and hot climates. (with lay down intercooler, that is the same size as the vertical intercooler)

90% of our C7 sales being the vertical intercooler, we have yet to have a complaint with over heating with over a year worth of sales under our belts.

Feel free to drop us a line to 913-338-2886 to discuss.

Like PC said, go with a kit with a horizontal FMIC and it shouldn't be an issue.
PC offers one
ECS offers one
A&A offers one

There is also a huge price difference between STS and Procharger, STS is nearly three times the money. That really makes Procharger look extra hot (pun intended).
