Side skirts
I'v tried researching. And I apologize if it's been brought up before.. are getting side skirts safe to have on the car at high speeds? Say like texas mile event.. 200 mph or so. . I know the front splitters are not recommended above 140 mph.. wondering if side skirts have similar recommendations.
I really want the zero 7 side skirts. Carbon flash black.. but I'm not going waste 800 bucks just for looks if it's not safe. Thanks guys

Not all splitters have that limitation (or perhaps practical warning). The obvious example without pointing out any aftermarket kits would be the GM splitter, which is rated to the listed speed of the Z06 when mounted/installed properly.
The biggest thing you're going to be looking for in skirts are points of contact. The more screw holes into substance (like the factory screws), the more force can be safely applied. 3M Extreme mounting tape is the strongest semi-removable tape adhesive on the consumer market, but it holds a max of 20 lb - 1 lb per 2 inches of material (most people don't usually see that second part). For additional safety, you will want as much clamping area as possible - while I won't say use non-factory screws/bolts, you can choose to use a washer to expand the clamped area.
Material rigidity and weight is also a large factor.

Really wondering if the skirts have any improvement or decrease safety at high speeds

I would have to say that (having a kit installed that I'm happy with) skirts are really for looks, and perhaps more importantly, to protect the rocker panels. The latter job they do very well.
They really don't offer any additional aero benefit on the C7 from what I've seen. Can't comment on the Z06 with the wider body, as I've not read enough data to remark.
I'll let others chime in on the safety aspect beyond my first post.
