Hey guys, i was thinking of upgrading my base stingray to the z51 wheels option. I see that i can now get replica z51 wheels in my current 18-19 set up which would be a lot cheaper for me but I like the idea of going 19-20 and having the bigger wheels. Is there much of a difference in performance and is it worthwhile in your opinions to get the bigger tires or stick with the stock tire size I already have? Thanks!

Can't answer your question but would like to know where you found the 18/19 Z51 replica wheels. I will tell you that there are currently no all season run flats available for the 19/20's if that's an issue with you.

I would upgrade the base rims on the fact i hate the way they look.

agreed! i have chrome and i love the black z51 wheels, i think ill stick with base size and save a ton of $$$

The only reason you may wish to upgrade to the 19-20" wheels is the visual preference. Otherwise IMO, you better off with the 18-19". For even the hardest street driving there is no difference in performance. On the other hand, you can drive the smaller wheel/same tire diameter combo with more confidence on less than perfect road surfaces. Less worries about getting the rims bent by hitting road imperfection and you get a better ride by having tire sidewalls that are 0.5" taller, absorbing shocks better.
