Default Corsa Extreme Mufflers

Are the Corsa Extreme NPP mufflers smaller and lighter than the stock NPP mufflers?

By "Corsa Extreme NPP mufflers" did you assume that they maintain NPP functionality like the stock mufflers?

I don't believe they do. If you have factory NPP, the Corsa's, I believe, will keep the AFM but not the NPP functionality. You will zip tie the NPP valves off to the side to keep from throwing a CEL but you will not have an active exhaust any longer.

Billy Boat, Borla, and one other offers factory NPP support. I am not aware of any others.

Thanx again.

I would remove the NPP valves and install a connector on the end of the wires.

Trifecta can eliminate the CEL. I bought their unit.

I would just buy the Billy Boat bullet exhaust, except the tips are only 4".

Just a head's up: removal of NPP valves will not trigger a code. AFM valves, however, will due to the wiring difference (return path).

Installing the bullets tomorrow. I have the speedway tips, black. There are four tips. The 1/2 inch isn't going to make a difference in flow or performance. 3 inch pipe will make up for the smaller tips.

Thanx, Its just that the 4-1/2" tips look better to me than smaller ones.

With the Corsa you end up using your existing NPP valves.

with corsa, you use the AFM valves but bypass NPP connections and no NPP valves. I installed the xtreme and double helix x pipe myself on my non NPP and the sound is awesome. Loud, but not bothersome while driving and makes me want to use paddle shifters more to hear the beauty of the sound.

The bullets are amazing. Less drone then with the stock mufflers NPP removed. Not that loud when cruising but a nice growl when WOT. I'm quite happy with the end result.

Tyho, any good pics of BB Speedway tips on your car? I've seen some poorly aligned.
