C6 Z06 LS7 vs C7 LT1

The higher rev's will help a lot, most of Road America is 3rd,4th gear.
The new brakes will help a ton too, the amount of trust I had in the OEM set up was high for about 3 laps.

I tried to start a fun convo. Some understand, some don't.
C6 Z06 is AMAZING to everyone who has recently joined. My tests, and my questions are around trying to figure out what mods it takes to have C6 Z06 speed in the C7 stingray. As of now based on my findings, it would take about $2,000 in mods (intake, headers, E85/Flex fuel).
On paper, it seems these are the mods it would take to get there; however, this is on paper, would love a chance to run a stock Z06 here locally. If i do find one, I will share those findings (like always). I like to show proof and facts.... kinda my thing
I like roll racing and drag racing, but respect all types of racing

Lt1 E85 I understand why you started this thread and I understand
No one is arguing stick to stock fellas, lt1 e85 is just purely showing what on average it takes to take down a c6 z06 in his opinion (which is correct I may add)
My C7 weighs a little less than 3300lbs currently and is slightly modded more than the original posters. I'll be honest I'm not even worried about the c6 z06. Buddy just ran 10.85 at 128 in his A8 c7 z06 stock and I think my car is faster/quicker than his

I can tell you from experience that from a roll a stock z06 will freight train a stock z51 c7, and headers+tune isn't going to make much difference. I raced the same z0 again after going sc making 550rwhp and while I won, it was alot closer than one might guess. Starting from 50-60mph combined with 300+ lbs and better gearing goes a long way in the z06's favor.

I remember getting my *** handed to me by plenty of 225 hp Fox body Mustangs back in the 90s when I had my mid 80s Z28 with 150 HP....hard to believe a camry today is faster than those foxes!
Amazing thing, progress.

Not saying the C6 Z06 is inferior... Just saying that it would not blow the doors off a C7. I've seen higher than average numbers for both cars which were in good air on a perfect track/day.
Not trying to stir a debate - So, edge clearly goes to C6 Z06.
But I'd street race one anytime for fun with little fear of being too embarrassed.
