Default C6 Z06 LS7 vs C7 LT1

Blue: lt1 headers, intake, flex fuel
Red: c6 z06 tune, intake
Green: c6 zo6 tune, intake, headers

Thoughts??

**UPDATE**

Sadly I don't have video, but I raced a Stock C6Z06, and I pulled hard early as we started at 40MPH, and then after I locked 2.5 cars to about 150mph, he couldn't catch up on the top end. I know that doesn't do much for you all in regards to video prof, but now I know for myself that my setup gives me the edge over a base c6Z. After that I raced my friend with a cam'd LS7 Z06 (525whp), and I pulled him 2 cars to about 120mph, and he ended up pulling hard up top and got me by 1 car to 155mph (he had 1 passenger, and I did not).

LT1 is legit for 2k worth of mods! I was so f'n pumped after a few races. Once we get some better weather I will get the guys together and get some video prof for everyone.

Mods:
E85
headers
aFe Intake
Dyno: 472whp 480tq
Dyno: 472whp 480tq

What is green? I think the labels for the graph may be jacked up.

Fixed, Higgs is correct

Below 5250rpm the LT1 crushes the ls7, after that it really shows its larger displacement. Thought it was worth a share

Might look good on paper... But a Z-06 will walk off and leave a C7! I love my C7, but I've owned both, and the C6 Z-06 is the real deal.

I would take my odds vs a stock c6 z06. A few people with simple bolt ons and e85 are trapping 129mph. Hell, I watched a video of a stingray with my same build beat the hellcat in the quarter mile just a few days ago with a trap just a few tenths under 130mph. Stingray is fairly impressive

My apologies... I should've made my post more clear, I was referring to the two cars stock to stock. But, having said that, I still wouldn't bet against the Z-06. They're very fast cars!

I hope you find one as well. I had the opportunity to run one and was able to pull on him easily. These were third gear pulls from a 60 roll on the highway. This was Friday. Saturday he ordered an A&A kit so I'll continue to run him while I have a chance. Lol

Vary nice comparo....would love to see a Z on E85 to see if that makes up for some of the tq deficit.....That would also then make the top end higher.....Nice stuff

Lt1 is no slouch

I'm certainly not disputing your word... But I had an 07 Z-06 before I bought my C7, and I raced everything from GT500's to GTR's and from a freeway roll not one of them couple pull me. I could literally go sideways from a 70 punch on the freeway. Also made several runs past 185 and it was still pulling. Either that guy isn't driving that car or yours isn't stock. My only comparison was stock to stock.

Stock for stock i don't think our C7's will take a C6 Z06. They are actually very fast! Specially at higher speeds. If you were to do a 60-140 i think the C7 would lose by at least 2 car lengths.

Stock vs stock, the C6Z wins easily. More power ans less weight.

Correct...mine isn't stock. Just a few bolt ons and e85.

Do you really need to do a head up race? A simple google search will get you plenty of examples of stock 1/4 mile et and trap speeds for both. Sure altitude, temp and track temp will play a role but take an average of 5 or 6 will get you close... My search shows neither car will blow the doors off the other.

Wide range of et/mph for both car. As stated, altitude, temp ...ect

The two cars are close.
