Default Headers & Xpipe install time/difficulty

Can someone provide some insight on the time it takes to install this on my own? I was going to pay a shop a few hundred to do it, but it doesnt seem too difficult. How much of a PITA is this? Is it worth just paying the $250 to install it, if i have all the tools and a lift to do it myself?

Thanks

If you can get a REPUTABLE shop to install headers/X pipe on a C7 for just $250, DO IT. Shops are charging a LOT more for installs than that.

Very much agree - that's a bargain.

That's cheap, they take longer than a C6 as getting the stock manifolds off is not fun, the outside bolts are so close to the manifold that it's a hand cramp waiting to happen for sure lol.

For $250 that is really cheap and I would pay at least double that to avoid the work. Plus, you will need a tune so factor in additional for that.

That's a steal for $250. I was quoted $750 and I said no way in hell am I gonna pay $750 without a tune to install headers. These shops are out of control.

Took me a day to do it myself on the floor of my garage, hardest part was removing the oem crap; the manifold to cat midpipe bolts, and dealing with a front O2 pulling the threads out with it, and the new x pipe being substandard, so for $250 that's a bargain and worth saving the busted knuckles
