Rear pad taper from tracking?
One of my rear pads was tapered as such--anyone else experience this? Also, the face of the pad seemed to look like it was starting to 'crumble' slightly.
This was the stock Z51 pad. I was using Carbotech XP12s on the front. The remaining other rear pads were all fine--strange...
Disclaimer: I kept Stabilitrac on (TC off), on non-MRC Z51, at Daytona on the Rolex 24hr course. (banking messing w/ Stabilitrac? I was getting an error message on the DIC).

I guess I need to take a closer look at mine, but looking in through the caliper opening, they look fine. Carbotech XP12s with 7-8 track days and 8500 street miles. I do not run with stabilitrac or TC turned on. I also have a non-MRC Z51.
Maybe your stock pads got too hot?

The only reason I ran Stabilitrac was I'd never been on that course before & wanted some 'training wheels' for my first time lol
What's strange is that all 3 of the other rear pads are good.
