I like the look of your tow hooks and the rear receiver looks like a solid unit. But I remain skeptical about the front receiver. My concerns are two fold:
1. Installation. You say that "once the front bumper is removed you can get to the rear of the crash bar". The last time I had the nose off my C7, it seemed like there was quite a bit of hardware behind the front cross member at that location.
eg:
2. Strength. A tow hook should be able to bear the strain of pulling a 3,000 lb car out of a sand pit (sometimes without the aid of wheels that roll). This design puts the entire load on an area defined by a 3/4" washer. A larger backing plate would instill greater confidence. (I guess your design allows me to install my own if I wish).

they are in same location except you can move them to any place on the crash bar if you want to. Our rear does not hang down like the OEM it pulls strait with car.

I ordered them as soon as they got in stock and I finally had the chance to install the front one. It feels ridiculously light and I'm loving the high fashion finish. I'll install the rear one tonight!

hooks
Just wondering why there are 2 different size tow hooks and why are they sold as a pair? Will the front tow hook not fit the rear or vice versa. I have a 2017 Z and it came factory with front and rear tow hook receivers. I'm looking to get a tow hook just in case I ever need one. BTW how much are they? Thanks in advance, BART
