C7 Z06 front flares Cultrag #
#2
Hey, I know you asked me a while back but I just found my invoice from cultrag. The item numbers for the flares are 23272790 and 23272789. You need to make some slight modifications to the stock mudflat and cut one tab off the fender flare to make them fit a non z06 (or at least I did) haha. Overall very easy though!

I know this is a Z06, but it's a great pic of the flares (without really focusing on the louvers or chin):

Doing some research for my new wheels and thought I would share the difference between the Z06 and Stingray wheels and tires!
Front wheels:
C7 Base and Z51 front wheel (respectively)
18x8.5 ET 56mm
P245/40ZR18 (93Y) SL Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport® ZP
19x8.5 ET 56mm
P245/35ZR19 (89Y) SL Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport® ZP
vs.
C7 Z06 front wheel
19x10 ET 43mm Listed weight of 25.7lbs.
285/30ZR19 (87Y) SL Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport® ZP
Result:

Rear wheels:
C7 Base and Z51 rear wheel (respectively)
19x10 ET 79mm

20x10 ET 79mm
P285/30ZR20 (95Y) SL Michelin® Pilot® Super Sport® ZP
vs.
C7 Z06 wheel
20x12 ET 59mm Listed weight of 31.8lbs.

- Fenders clearance: Z06 front wheel will stick out 33 mm (1.3'') farther.
- Wheelwells clearance: The same.
- SPEEDOMETER: The same.

I tried to install them on the Z51....not a huge succes till now...do they install on top of the inner wheel liner or behind the line, or should I take off the liner, install the flares, and then reinstall the liner on top ?

I ended up trimming the back side to keep my splash guards. You have to pull the liner down and push that edge up under it. I trimmed the forward tab off too to make it easier to get it up under there.
I'm in the process of painting them. After all this, I'm not even sure how much I like the way they look. Lol.

That looks good as a system. Yeah, on their own, I'm not sure either. I dunno, maybe I'll sell em.

Using these, you can essentially go with a lower wheel offset that will stick out further and perhaps sit flush with the fender flares i.e Z06. Whats the lowest offset used on a C7 with aftermarket wheels? I know the range is between 50-56.
And will a 5x120 bolt pattern like that on a CTS-V fit on a C7 without issues?
