My build is:
ECS Novi 1500 S/C (No restrictor plate)
Cooler NKG plugs
Alky single nozzle 100% Meth injection
ARH Long Tube Headers with High Flow cats
Green Air Filter
ECS custom dyno tune.

Temperatures yesterday were in the mid 90's with super high humidity. The dyno room at ECS read 106 degrees so I was not expecting to hit 700 RWHP but it got darn close. I'm guessing in cooler weather it will be well north of 700 RWHP. The Novi 1500 blowers typically cap out at about 10.5 psi so at 106 degrees, I think 9.8 is pretty good for yesterday's conditions.

I have stock tires for now so I only did a few pulls in 2nd and passed someone on the Interstate dropping it into 4th and nearly soiled myself. It is THAT fast. Scary fast.

Chris and Doug at ECS are awesome. They worked on my previous 08 and when I finally decided to go this route, they were great with communication and I think I got a darn good package price.

I was toying with the idea of buying a Z06 but could not justify 85+K. I got my 15 Z51 M7 in December and the cost of the car plus this kit, install and tune was still well under the base price of a Z06.

We'll have to see when I hit the drag track but expecting to eat a C7 Z06's lunch along with any Hellcat's that show up

Now I just need to practice my NLS procedure. Doug gave me some pointers.

Short video I did when I got home.

I will include the ECS video link once they put it up.

Thanks Chris and Doug for an amazing machine! This build made my whole year
Congrats and welcome to the 700+ club

Took my Vette to ECS after having a terrible experience with previous shop.

Not only did they fix my tune, but they also optimized the Novi install and added other goodies. Essentially similar mods you have now.

They also turned my brothers C7 into a beast as well!

Doug and Chris at ECS

I'm aprehensive about anyone touching my car but I had absoultly no aprehension with ECS. They did work on my 08 and let me watch and they are true professionals.

When I first went into ECS years ago, both Doug and Chris treated me like family. They took their time and answered my mutitude of questions. Even after I had them work on my 08 and made additional mods myself, Doug said "Swing by and we'll check the tune". After he worked on it I asked what I owed him and he waved me off. That was when I know I had a tuner that would get ALL my business.

This time Chris and Doug helped guide me to this build. They asked all kinds of questions about how I planned to use my 15 and based on my answers, they designed my build.

Communication was OUTSTANDING. I sent Chris and email nearly every day and he always responded within minutes, even at night and over the weekend.

ECS is a total class-act and they have my confidence 100%. If you are lucky enough to live within 100 miles of ECS, I highly recommend them for all your C7 power train work.

Agree. Doug taught me how to lock my arm against the door panel while holding the wheel. For drag racing, this locks your arm to the wheel. With the violent acceleration, it is needed for an M7 as you need the other hand to shift.

Mike, did you get a line lock too? If not I'd advise you to because you can drift after staging with a M7. Then all you'll do is red light.

As far as I know the boots level is not corrected and sure, you will see higher boost on a cool dense day however, I think you need to consider the dyno hp they provided is SAE and not STD. I think your STD dyno would be much lower considering the temps you mention that day (it was corrected up). By the same token on a 40*F day you would make well over 700 but it would be SAE corrected down to compensate for the dense cold air.

So your STD today much lower than 693 and your STD on a cold day much higher than 693 but both should be SAE 693 give or take an inch.

There are a few out this way that can get you set up - I would still let Doug remote tune it on their rollers, though.

I'm probably within 10 minutes of you, and I think I know of three that have done several S/C kits, and two of those have done ECS kits, meth, etc.

Doug,
How did you get that much HP at only 9.8lbs of boost? I thought it needed 13-14lbs to get there?

10 psi, headers, and meth is the recipe for ~ 700 to the tire. 13-14 gets you to ~ 800

Yes but I think I got very close to 700 due to my car being and M7. Not sure an A6 or A8 would hit 700 with the same mods. I would ecpect 650-675 for an auto.

Right. Yes, of course. A8 would fall short about 5%. 13 psi would get the A8 to the 700 mark for sure!

Car sounds insane!

Where did they put the meth tank?

What was the turn around time to get that done?

Sounds about right.. I got the big 3 upgrade and I'm in a 2014 A6.. 662rwhp (work done at LG Motorsports in Plano, Texas). I'm speaking with another tuner in my area (Baily's Hyperformance). In order to get past the 700 number to the ground, I am going to have to get a mild cam. I was quoted roughly $6K for a set of Texas Speed & Performance heads and their VVT1 cam. After a lengthy phone conversation with TS&P, I was assured that I would be somewhere in the ballpark of 100 extra ponies on top of the rwhp levels that I am currently at.

$14K - Headers, meth, ECS 1500, tune, minor fab work / installation.
$ 6K - TS&P heads, VVT1 cam, cam phaser, DOD delete, gaskets, head bolts, lifter tray, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, hardened springs, retune and installation.

If I get the cam / heads option installed, that would put me squarely at $20K on the engine.. Yikes, it adds up fast! ...haha! Just throwing that out there in case someone gets the itch to have a 750+ rwhp AUTO C7.
