Default DIY: C7 Header Install Video

Hello Guys and Gals,

We took some time over the winter to make a C7 Header Install Video for you all. I was a little sick and then business has been going pretty nuts so I haven't compiled it until now.

We've got all the important parts, some dynoing, and even some bloopers! Enjoy!

Andrew

Nice video! That car dyno at 419 stock? That is pretty good! Why are the exhaust tips hanging outside the rear? Is that just how the aftermarket exhaust is designed?

FYIL Love the ending jokes!

I didn't baseline this one, but I baselined my C7 so I used that as the stock graph. The tips hanging outside the rear may be attributed to his aftermarket exhaust, although on mine with the stock catback, they appear to go out a little further than stock, nothing crazy.

If you use coated midpipes, sometimes the clearance of the pipes is null and you really have to force them together, otherwise the midpipes hang back too far and hit the hanger.

Never removed the fuse box. Although the first install we did we removed the valve cover for extra clearance. With removing the heat shield, we could squeeze in there much easier.

Really? Every install I have seen has the complete fuse box removed on the passenger side. That's awesome it's possible without removing it, because it looks difficult..

Fuse box removal is actually very easy, unhook it pull the handles up it lifts off slide the 5 whatever they're called fuse things out and 3 nuts.

I did that to change my spark plugs.

Thanks for doing that. Looks like there is more room than the C5/6 and no issues with the steering shaft.

No issue with the steering shaft. It doesn't even get unhooked. I actually edited out the part saying that so I wouldn't confuse anyone.
