on tuesday, a gross hot muggy 95 degree day the car made 428rwhp through the auto and im sure sounds way meaner!!

ECS is always top notch and very cool guys !!

I'm sure I will eventually do their kit but there is something about a simple bolt on car that I really love. Plus I will get into some road racing next year and N/A appeals to me. If I don't do their kit I will have them install a vengence racing cam only kit for my car that retains the stock converter. I realized the other day driving around my normal places how rarely I can even use full power in a stock stingray. ECS cars are fastttttt , but I don't have to tell you that. Plus my C6 had their kit on it.

Stock makes 400 or so?
Intake headers and tune made 22 rwhp?
The dyno number allows for the heat

Lot of money for 22 rwhp

yes, all dynos, elevations, weather/days, and cars are exactly the same. i mean, EXACTLY the same.

so that is precisely what makes you correct.

now, if you disagree with my first sentence, then you also disagree with my second.

It was over 100* in the dyno room and muggy as can be, literally the hottest day of the year so far. Yes they correct but they always make a little less when it's like that.

Great job raining on the man's parade though, congrats!

Most autos I saw were in the high 380s. To pick up about 30+rwhp and more importantly to me, the sound was well worth the money. If I just want insane straight line speed I'll get their blower/meth package but I'm pretty content with my car!! I daily a Jeep wrangler so anything that is under 5 thousand pounds and over 200 horsepower feels like a rocket to me

OK, class is in session..

When it's hot out the vehicle has to pull timing due to IAT's, that is NOT adapted to the dyno readings, only the air quality. Speak of what you know, not what you have read please.

I didn't make the numbers don't shoot me. We all know the under the curve is important which is not showing.

It's not that, it's that you're wrong again.

Not wrong on anything.
My past dyno with an Ls3
Headers and tune was 428 rwhp on a mustang dyno.

422 is whopping amount of power.

Your LS3 was an M6 though, which has less drivetrain loss than an A8. This is a large factor to take into account. As others have mentioned, another factor is the non-correctable heat factor. You are in Oregon, which is much cooler than a muggy hot summer day in NY.

Not bad really considering the heat and the A8 was maybe only 380 to start.
Were hot here too. 90's today
