ProCharger builds more than just the best blower kits...(Sheet Metal Intake)

Sometimes the technology used on the "baddest race cars" doesn't work so well on street cars. I'm not saying heat will be a problem with an aluminum intake but blanketly saying "race cars do it so it must be awesome" isn't really a sound argument.
I'd love to try one of those.

Yes a person could try and see if a spacer would make a difference, we won't stop them. We have given a killer foundation for people wanting to lean on this LT-4 for years and years to come.

Not to mention icing that big heat sink at a drag strip may actually give you a benefit if you're going for that one glory pass.
I can't wait to hear NA results.

I have to ask (and you know by now that this is not meant to be rude) - is the top logo piece something that is compulsory? Obviously, there are bolt holes placed in the manifold, but can those be either skipped, or perhaps can custom top plates be ordered/offered? Water jet (just assuming here from the thickness) for this isn't cheap, and it looks great for sure.
I obviously use some of your products on this car (that work very well), but you do have to admit that having a Paxton blower next to a big Procharger logo will make a few people sneer.
All in all, love the idea - PM me once you have more information on pricing.

It would have looked silly with a larger flat, blank plate on top.
So we worked out logo into something that "fit" the C7 theme.

After spending months building the best supercharger kit for the C7 platform with loads of custom parts.
Little items like the CNC airbox adaptor, and custom silicon hoses, to make it 100% OEM as possible.
Our next step was to take what we created on the C7, and do the same with the Z06.
The Z06 obviously has a roots blower on it.
Which poses as a restriction at the power levels we knew people would be wanting from our Z06 system.
The obvious step was to create a plug and play sheet metal intake manifold,
And make it for BOTH the LT-4, and the LT-1 as well.
C7 owners will be interested in this because:
- easy place to put individual meth nozzles
- each place to plum n2o nozzles under the intake
- can mount a second set of injectors (and rails) for big fueling.
The manifold features:
CNC billet base plates,
CNC billet runners,
CNC throttle body mount,
THICK alum sheet metal ready for big big boost.
All while fitting under the factory hood line.
This thread is just to let all those be aware of it.
(since we put the blog post up, and thread in the LT4 section)
COMING SOON:
- Pricing and Part numbers
Intake can be had in bare alum, or textured black.
Intake cover plate can be had in the same two colors.
(or mix and match)

16 injectors??
16 injectors? How? High(2000psi) or low(90psi) pressure? What drives them? How to tune them? Stand alone fuel injection?

LS7 version next? Would be nice to have a good option for big power c6 people.

Plus there are already a couple very cheap versions out there for the older LSx platforms.

Only one worth a damn is PMC, Wilson, etc that are $2800+. The cheap ones are just that, cheap junk that don't work worth a damn. Would be nice to see something in the $1200-1900 range. Then again maybe this one is $2800+ like all the decent options for older motors.

Good pricing. I would order one right now if it was an LS7 intake (assuming data to back up gains). Guess I'm stuck with the PMC intake for $2800. Sad

Really interested in seeing the NA impact on a C7. Having had a chance to see a recent engine pull for a cam and Procharger upgrade, it seems the stock cylinder heads have some potential around the exhaust port for port matching and clean up. The stock intake didn't look too bad from just eyeing it - but that's really not worth much in terms of an assessment.
This intake certainly has all the high horsepower bells and whistles, I am wondering how well it will work for us mere mortals that might put it on a NA C7 and then upgrade to the Procharger as a next step in a longer build out process.

(Well other then the BETA Z06 cars making killer power)
But the lowest HP we could do back to back testing on was.
Bone stock Auto 2014 C7. (The worst case for an intake like this)
IN back to back testing here is how it turned out.
It gained HP up top (to be expected) 421 vs 408rwhp
It lost a little TQ in the mid range (to be expected) 390 vs 402 rwtq
BUT, the "average" for both TQ and HP are both up for the entire run.
And thats what really matters, the HP is up, and TQ stays longer.
333 vs 312 average rwhp
374 vs 372 average rwtq

Wish I have a C7 Z06 and the money for this set up. Looks great and sounds like a great set up. I was never a big roots fan. The heat issue should hopefully be resolved. I would have a hard time deciding black or raw. Both look great. CF chargers have gotten quiet though. The sound is why I wanted one so bad. Now they are quiet. I want to hear it all the time.
